The sandals are printed with Bernie’s iconic silhouette and are available in red or blue. The Kickstarter campaign also offers a “Bernie PAC” as well as a “Make Donald Drumpf Again” T-Shirt for project backers.

“Our goal was to create something unique that could possibly help spread the word about our candidate, and have some fun in the process,” Co-creator, Brian Batrowny said.

The sandals are manufactured just outside of Atlanta, Georgia using a recycled microplast material.

The project creators have announced plans to set up a website offering Bernie Sandals after the Kickstarter campaign is complete and will donate a dollar for every pair sold to the Bernie Sanders campaign.
