Rekortan Races Into the Penn Relays
Harmony, PA, April 14, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Penn Relays is one of the premier track events of the spring. Rekortan and Advanced Polymer Technology (APT) will be attending the event and Rekortan will be directly under the races. That’s because Rekortan is the track surface of Franklin Field, where the Penn Relays are held. Rekortan, the track “Powered by Speed” has been the track surface at the Relays since 1987, but this year the excitement is even higher due to a resurfacing of the track in the summer of 2015.
Harvey Glance knows fast tracks. A three-time Olympian and coach of the 2012 400m Olympic champion, Harvey commented on the new Rekortan surface at Franklin Field. “When you go to track and field events, one of the major components of competing and running fast is having a good surface. Rekortan is one of the leading products in the field of track and field. I can’t wait to see how the athletes perform on this track.”
