Saga Sapphire-Cruise Ship Refit
Spectile Limited – Saga Sapphire Cruise Liner given facelift.
Crewe, United Kingdom, April 15, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Spectile Ltd is pleased to announce that they have been chosen to supply the tiling package for the refit of the Saga Cruise Ship “Sapphire.” Originally built in 1981 the cruise ship is now operated by Saga and can carry up to 750 passengers. She is based out of Dover or Southampton and cruises around the British Isles, the Norway Fjords, the Mediterranean and Canada, spending the winter months in the Caribbean.
The refit is mostly focused on staff accommodation and some repairs to the pool and spa area. Most of the tiles supplied are for wet areas, such as shower rooms and as such Spectile have provided a tiling package with the appropriate SRV (Slip Rating Value).
Spectile Ltd’s Managing Director commented "This is the first time we have supplied our tiling package to a ship, it’s an unusual project and one that we have been very pleased to be part of."
