Coldwell Banker Commercial Sudweeks Group and Coldwell Banker Commercial Inland Empire Complete Merger
Temecula, CA, April 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Coldwell Banker Commercial Sudweeks Group today announced the completion of their merger with Coldwell Banker Commercial Inland Empire in Ontario, CA. The combined entities will now operate as Coldwell Banker Commercial SC (CBC SC), and represent one of the largest commercial real estate firms in Southern California, with offices in San Diego, Ontario, Temecula and Redlands.
“After months of planning and preparation, it gives me great pleasure to announce the completion of this merger. We look forward to operating under a brand that has the potential to redefine commercial real estate in the Inland Empire and San Diego” said Brandon Sudweeks, Chief Executive Officer of CBC SC. “This merger gives us access to capital and proven leadership, while allowing us to open a first class office in the hub of one of the largest industrial market in the country.”
CBC SC currently houses 40 full time commercial real estate advisors specializing in industrial, office, retail, multifamily, land and investments. CBC SC plans to expand its market share and recruit heavily in the Southern California markets in the next few years.
“We are confident the Ontario office will thrive under Brandon Sudweeks’ leadership in light of his proven success in commercial real estate and his investment and land development expertise, bolstered by favorable market conditions in the area,” stated Fred Schmidt, president and chief operating officer of Coldwell Banker Commercial Affiliates. “Further expansion in Ontario and the Inland Empire overall brings new and exciting opportunities for our worldwide network.”
Dan Richards, Chairman of the Board of CBC SC, has been recognized as one of the most successful and influential brokers and developers in the Inland Empire for the past 35 years and plans to help train, recruit and expose agents to opportunities to build wealth in commercial real estate. Mr. Richards owns over 25 commercial real estate properties in the Inland Empire and throughout the United States, and has personally developed over 38 successful projects. Mr. Richards is highly regarded as one of the top 50 Coldwell Banker Commercial Brokers nationwide. The Los Angeles Times previously named Mr. Richards as one of the most influential persons in the Inland Empire. Among his most memorable transactions, Mr. Richards led a group that brokered the sale of the iconic Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. and has combined brokerage deal valuations approaching $1 billion over the course of his career.
“As the national commercial real estate brokerage firm landscape continues a strong consolidation trend, this merger propels CBC SC and our clients into the upper echelon of those opportunities. Our area of expertise footprint now stretches from San Diego through the Temecula Valley and covers the entire Inland Empire. That is over 22,000 Sq. Miles! We anticipate this unique merger of our advisors, whom are experts within our market place, and our national access to over 200 CBC offices to have significant value for our clients and strengthen our representation tools offered to both our advisors and clients,” added Mr. Richards.
Mr. Richards continued, “We will continue to recruit both experienced real estate advisors, as well as newer personnel who are client oriented first and foremost but also share our entrepreneurial spirit to grow and improve their own real estate portfolios and knowledge base while maximizing client services and representation. We have a very unique platform that we believe will be very attractive to the most talented advisors in the marketplace.”
CBC SC will continue to specialize in all commercial property types and brokerage, property management and capital markets service lines across all specialty types including hospitality, office, retail, land & development, and industrial.
