Fine Art, Antique and Asian Auction Set for April 30, 2016

Sarasota, FL, April 20, 2016 --(PR.com)-- An eclectic mix of fine art, antiques and Asian pieces promises an exciting auction on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Sarasota Estate Auction in Sarasota, Florida.

Among the offerings are the works of such artists as Dutch painter Josef Israels (1824 - 1911), a prominent Hague School tonalist known for his historical, landscape and religious themes, as well as "The Alpha and Omega" Old Master painting, of Edwinsford Collection provenance, which depicts the prophet Isaiah reading a Hebrew scroll while flanked by cherubs.

Notable among the Asian items is a signed Qing Dynasty vase depicting a five-claw dragon, which indicates it was an imperial vase.

Also featured is the remaining collection of a Countess from Monte Carlo, now residing in Naples, Florida.

The public auction will be held 12-4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time at 6030 N. Lockwood Ridge Road in Sarasota. Beer, wine and refreshments will be served.
