Reliance Insurance Group Relocates Offices in Woodbridge, NJ
Expanded Facilities to Accommodate Growing Insurance Practice
Woodbridge, NJ, January 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Reliance Insurance Group, LLC (www.relianceinsurancesolutions.com) today announced it has opened its new offices at 1460 Route 9 North in Woodbridge Township to better accommodate its growing base of products and customers.
“Woodbridge is a strategic location in New Jersey, convenient for our clients and providing vast opportunity to access leading businesses in our region in need of quality insurance programs,” said Gary Taffet, principal of Reliance Insurance Group and a native of the township. “Our expanded offices can better accommodate client flow and prepare the company for anticipated growth in 2008 and beyond.”
Taffet also noted, “expert service and prompt customer attention are the hallmarks to our firm’s continued success.”
Taffet, of East Brunswick, launched Reliance Insurance Group early last year, earlier having served as a principal in Highview Planning, LLC for several years. Taffet created Reliance Insurance Group to offer a full complement of employee benefits and property casualty insurance services – a one-stop shop for individuals, small businesses and corporations.
While serving as the company’s chief executive, Taffet’s primary area of expertise is the design, funding and administration of large group employee benefits and health insurance programs. Taffet is recognized as a leader for self-insured programs, with 20 years experience in complex insurance policy matters and reforms.
Before founding Reliance Insurance Group, Taffet served the State of New Jersey as Governor’s Chief of Staff and earlier in his career was employed in a similar role for the Township of Woodbridge. In addition, he served as a Staff Associate for the New Jersey Legislature’s Assembly Offices, with staffing responsibilities for the Insurance and Housing Committees. His experience there included work on small group benefit reform and insurer solvency issues.
While in municipal government, Taffet was a manager and administrator for a $10 million health and property/casualty insurance fund. As Insurance Commission Chair, he was responsible for implementing several innovative cost-containment and claims resolution efficiencies for one of the largest public entity insurance programs in the state.
