St. Louis Car Restoration Company Adds Two Partners
Precision Restorations plans to expand its worldwide business.
St. Louis, MO, April 22, 2016 --(PR.com)-- After nearly eight years in business, Precision Restorations’ owner Dale Oestreich is shifting gears.
Oestreich is bringing on investment partners and classic car enthusiasts Aaron Smoller and Jim Walter to join him in globally growing the company. Precision Restorations is a St. Louis, Mo.-based classic car and truck restoration company located at 4151 Forest Park Ave. Terms of the new partnership were not provided for the company that billed $1.2 million in 2015.
Precision Restorations typically handles 30 simultaneous projects at different restoration stages in its 24,000-square-foot location. Projects average $80,000 per car with many exceeding $100,000. There are currently 11 employees that include mechanical and body shop technicians, a painter and upholsterer. Precision Restorations plans to hire two more technicians to accommodate the anticipated growth.
Oestreich will oversee all daily operations, as well as handle sales and marketing. Smoller, who graduated from South Dakota School of Mines and The University of South Dakota with a Master’s degree from the dual studies program in Business and Technology Management, will assist with the company’s streamlining and growth opportunities. Walter, who graduated from the United States Naval Academy and was a nuclear engineer in the Navy, has more than 25 years in operations leadership and was previously the Vice President of Global Manufacturing for an international biopharmaceutical company. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Operations and Engineering in the utilities industry, and he will focus on improving the production time of restoring a car at Precision Restorations.
“Aaron and Jim are the perfect combination to help the company increase sales on a worldwide basis,” said Oestreich. “We currently handle restorations from across the country, but their expertise will enable Precision Restorations to reach out and capture even more business.” Oestreich added that their assistance will allow the company to participate in more classic car shows and international events.
