Richard’s latest series Distant Memories, which received recognition in the International Photography Award (IPA) - is diametrically grey, moody and reflective, a visual commentary on the ethereal nature of memories and the relationships that serve as their foundation; while his award-winning Color Redux | Urban Landscape series offers abstract modernism in striking geometries discovered within urban landscape.
The exhibit is also a featured event for MOPLA – Month of Photography Los Angeles, in its eighth year program by the Lucie Foundation.
About the artist
Richard is a fine arts and documentary photographer. His work is honored with awards, solo/juried shows, internationally shown and published, and featured in several private collections. He is represented by Gallery 825/Los Angeles Art Association; also a producer for Open Show LA and curator at Los Angeles Curators. Richard served as Chairman of the Board for the nonprofit Create Now, whose mission is to transform lives for at-risk youth through arts mentoring.
