RE/MAX Brokers Again Led Metro Chicago Real Estate Market in 2015, Selling More Homes Than Brokers with Any Other Brand
Chicago, IL, April 27, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The brokers of the RE/MAX Northern Illinois network were responsible for the sale of more homes in the metropolitan Chicago real estate market than any other brokerage organization during 2015. RE/MAX has maintained the number one position in the Chicagoland real estate market for the last 26 years.
“We’re in a very competitive business, but the professionalism and productivity of RE/MAX brokers has allowed us to maintain an enviable record of market leadership,” said Jack Kreider, executive vice president and regional director of the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network.
Last year, RE/MAX brokers listed 16.5 percent, or one of every six homes of the 109,207 listings sold in the seven-county metro Chicago area, which includes Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties. That was more than any other real estate organization.
During the same period, RE/MAX brokers represented buyers in 14.6 percent of transactions, again topping all competitors.
When all transactions are combined, RE/MAX brokers’ market share was 15.5 percent. The closest competitor had a market share of 12.7 percent.
