FirstGlance Film Festival Philadelphia Calls for Entries for 19th Annual Event

Philadelphia, PA, April 27, 2016 --(PR.com)-- FirstGlance Film Festival, Philadelphia’s Independent Film Festival since 1996, is calling for entries on Film Freeway and Withoutabox for their annual event taking place in the fall of 2016. Open to filmmakers across the globe and nearby star systems, the 19th annual FirstGlance Film Fest Philadelphia accepts submissions from professional, first-time, student, national and international indie filmmakers with films in the following categories: (local and international: live action and animation accepted in every category) Feature Film (over 60 min.), Feature Documentary (over 60 min.), Short Film (under 60 min.), Shorts Too (under 10 min.), Short Documentary (under 60 min.), Student Shorts (under 20 min.), Music Videos (under 7 min.), Web Series Pilots (under 15 min.), Animated Shorts (under 30 min.), and Trailers (under 5 min. – Exclusive to FilmFreeway). Philly’s only high concept genre film festival screens Science Fiction, Horror, Fantasy, Comic Book, Pop Culture, and Fan Films, as well as, Action, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Romance, Thriller, and more. Special early bird deadline categories only $19/$38 entry fee for a limited time on Film Freeway only.

FirstGlance offers a number of short films not programmed at the festival the opportunity to be part of the longest running Short Online Contest, a chance at prizes and a premiere at the next FirstGlance event.
