Cruise the Bay for a Cause on Cinco de Mayo With The Charitable Foundation
Newport Beach, CA, April 27, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Orange County chapter of The Charitable Foundation presents “Cruising for a Cause,” a fun way to spend Cinco de Mayo while supporting kids who can use a helping hand instead of a handout. Sail Newport Harbor on a yacht May 5 while enjoying a silent auction and entertainment to benefit Boys Town California and Blind Children’s Learning Center. Festive appetizers and libations will be served.
This event is sponsored by The Charitable Foundation, an organization run by local real estate agents. The Foundation’s Orange County chapter is comprised of agents and staff from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties.
Tickets for the evening sail are $65 per person. The yacht departs promptly at 6:30 p.m. from Electra Cruises, 9439 Via Oporto, Newport Beach. Meet dockside at 6 p.m. for boarding at 6:15. The yacht will return at approximately 8 p.m.
“Our agents, managers, and staff had such a great time on last year’s cruise, so we decided to open it up to anyone who wants to join us and support two deserving organizations,” said Chris Perko, board chair of Orange County chapter of The Charitable Foundation. “It will be a beautiful night spent on the water meeting new people and benefiting two very special nonprofits devoted to children.”
For tickets and more information, send an email to admin@thecharitablefoundation.net. Cruise guests can use the public parking lot at 3434 Via Lido, Newport Beach. Street parking also may be available.
