IntelliTect’s Client Wins Award for Best CIS Implementation

Spokane, WA, April 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- IntelliTect is proud to announce that their long-time client, Avista Utilities, has won the 2016 'Expanding Excellence Award' for Best CIS Implementation among utilities with gross revenues over $500 million.

The award, presented by CS Week, is for CIS projects implemented during 2014-2015 and is granted to the utility that best demonstrates excellence and achievement in the following areas, among others:

• budget adherence
• schedule adherence
• operational efficiency after go-live
• innovation, and
• improved service levels

IntelliTect had a significant role in Avista's CIS project, known as Project Compass, developing and implementing the integrated solution between the Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) system, IBM Maximo Asset Management system, and the Oracle Financial system. CC&B replaced Avista's over 20-year-old homegrown CIS.

IntelliTect developed more than 120 integrations to meet the target go-live date of February 2015 and continues to create new integrations to support Avista and ensure stability and operational efficiency of the system's infrastructure.
