Rising Stars Leadership Council Fundraiser for Furniture Sharehouse

Yonkers, NY, April 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Rising Stars Leadership Council of The Business Council of Westchester is hosting a special “happy 2-hour” fundraiser for Furniture Sharehouse, Westchester’s Furniture Bank. This fundraiser is being held on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016 from 5pm to 7pm at Yonkers Brewing Company at 92 Main Street in Yonkers.

Furniture Sharehouse helps over 450 Westchester families and individuals each year by collecting gently-used furniture from the community and redistributing it directly to help those in need fill their empty apartments and rebuild their lives. Clients are referred by a network of over 25 member agencies including Westhab, WestCOP, Human Development Services of Westchester, Hope’s Door, Choice, The Guidance Center and many more.
