Los Angeles Art-Based Non-Profit Joins with Events Company to Heal Kids Through Art at Free Arts’ Fun Day on June 4, 2016
Free Arts, an L.A.-based non-profit that uses the healing power of art to restore hope and self-esteem in children who have experienced abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness, announces the annual Free Arts Fun Day 2016 on Saturday, June 4, 2015 from 11:30am-3pm at Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club.
Los Angeles, CA, April 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Free Arts – a Los Angeles-based non-profit that uses the healing power of art to restore hope and self-esteem in children who have experienced abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness – is pleased to announce their annual Free Arts’ Fun Day 2016 scheduled for Saturday, June 4, 2015 from 11:30am to 3pm at Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club.
Free Arts’ Fun Day 2016 is proudly presented together by Free Arts and Rock N’ Events, a Los Angeles-based event planning and management company. Lead by Jenny Chang, Rock N’ Events is passionate about giving back to the local community.
“Passion and creativity is the key to what makes every successful Rock N' Event. Our love for kids is what propelled Rock N' Events to give back to the children of Free Arts, an incredible art-based organization that offers healing programs for local kids. Partnering with Free Arts felt so right, and I couldn't be more happy to stand by this organization,” says Jenny Chang.
This year’s event will take place at Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club (SMBWC). The SMWBC organization kindly donated their venue to help make this event happen.
“We could not think of a better way to spend our day and utilize our space then hosting Free Arts Fun Day 2016. It’s our honor to support a local organization like Free Arts that takes such a proactive stance to better the lives of local children in need,” says Becky Upchurch, president of SMBWC.
Free Arts’ Fun Day 2016 will feature a casual carnival with activities and games for all ages, tasty food and drinks for adults and kids, plus an exclusive VIP area with VIP-only auction items.
This year’s auction will feature high-end designer clothing, accessories, luggage, décor and more from Holstee, Mulholland Luggage, Calypso St. Barth, Msteves, A.L.C., Disney and many more. Complimentary valet is provided and casual attire is recommended.
