Thrivent Financial Announces Member Impact in the State of Virginia Through Service and Giving
Generosity of Thrivent members in 2015 makes a difference throughout the state.
Roanoke, VA, May 01, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Thrivent Financial recently announced that members from Virginia who came together in 2015 donated $827,841 to local nonprofits and gave 162,591 of hours of volunteer time to dozens of different causes in the State of Virginia.
All Thrivent Financial all members belong to a local organization that provides a way for them to give back to their communities, churches and causes they care about through charitable activities, as well as connect with one another for social and educational events.

• 759 people were involved, along with the Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity program, in building 2 homes and repairing another 9 in the State of Virginia which impacted 26 individuals.
• 3,238 members in the State of Virginia directed $500,193 Thrivent Choice Dollars® to 982 enrolled churches, schools, social ministries and other nonprofits.
