Copa Americana International Youth Soccer Tournament Comes to Miami
Miami will is the official city for the Copa Americana International Youth Soccer Tournament. This is the first time that an international youth soccer tournament is organized in the city of Miami. The event will be held at Amelia Earhart Park June 24-26, 2016.

Final preparations under way for the Copa Americana Milan Junior Miami 2016 International Soccer Tournament for U10, U12, U14, U16, U18 boys categories.
The International tournament will kick off at Amelia Earhart Park from June 24 to 26, 2016.
10 Milan Junior Elite International Teams featuring 165 players from 16 countries in the Americas, will arrive on Jun 21 to begin pre tournament training and teams’ retreat at Barry University, as well as a College Combine (June 23rd) that has been scheduled as part of this international event.
Over 1,000 participants and 48 teams arriving from Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Colombia, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, USA, Peru, Ecuador, Canada, Venezuela among other nations that will have the opportunity to measure their style of play and share their cultural and ethnical heritage with that of players from numerous nations, making this tournament a truly exciting exchange of sport and cultural experiences.
The event will also feature the Copa Americana Milan Junior 2015 champions in all categories. These teams will be traveling from South America and looking to defend their Championship titles.
2016 tournament champions will have the opportunity earn the “No Pay To Play” program prize, which enables winners to participate in the Copa Americana Pereira 2016, October 14-16, 2016 in Pereira, Colombia.
The Copa Americana Milan Junior Miami 2016 will kick-off with an Olympic style ceremony parade at Marlins Park Stadium during the Marlins vs Chicago Cubs game on Thursday, June 23rd.
The Copa Americana is expected to bring in over one Million Dollars in positive economic impact to Miami-Dade and is focused on generating environmental awareness in the community. The event will abstain from the use of plastic bottles, disposables and packaging and will promote environmentally friendly alternatives to reach this important goal.
