Celebrating 2016 Friendship Day
Friendship Agape Church to offer special musical program, uplifting message and fellowship lunch on Sunday, May 15, 2016.
San Jose, CA, May 05, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Friendship Agape Church is pleased to invite the community to its annual Friendship Day celebration on Sunday, May 15, 2016.
“Friendship Day is our most popular Sunday of the year,” explained Jonathan Lo, Steering Committee Chairperson at Friendship Agape Church. “FAC is excited to be one of the few churches in the San Jose area that serves our community with bilingual Mandarin Chinese and English.”
Friendship Day 2016 Celebration
Each year, Friendship Agape welcomes neighbors, visitors and friends to its annual Friendship Day celebration. Bilingual worship begins at 11:30am. The all-church choir will present “The Sun above the Cloud” with flute and piano accompaniment. Pastor Fernando del Rosario will be delivering this year’s message. Catered lunch will be provided during the fellowship time.
With the entire worship program in both Mandarin Chinese and English, FAC strives to meet the needs of multi-cultural individuals and multi-generational families. For example, during Sunday worship, music lyrics appear on-screen in Chinese, English and Pinyin – a first for Silicon Valley. With Pinyin, even non-Chinese speakers can follow along and sing in Mandarin.
