Local Realtor to Sponsor 5th Annual Kenilworth Gardens Yard Sale

Wilmette, IL, May 09, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Anne West of Coldwell Banker’s Come Home North Shore will once again play host as she sponsors the 5th Annual Kenilworth Gardens Neighborhood Yard Sale. This is the largest multi-family yard sale in Wilmette with more than 40 homes usually participating and attracting shoppers from all over the North Shore and beyond.

“The Yard Sale has become another wonderful Wilmette tradition,” said neighbor Kelly Dondanville. “Anne literally handles all of the logistics and makes it so easy for everyone to participate. Now we have no excuse not to get organized and clean out our homes!”

The Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, May 14th from 8 am – 2pm in the Kenilworth Gardens neighborhood which includes the following streets: Beechwood, Kenilworth, Chestnut, Thornwood, Greenwood and Elmwood Avenues and Hunter Rd.

West handles all of the arrangements including running ads for the sale and putting signs up on street corners to direct people to the sale. There is even have an interactive website, KenilworthGardensYardSale.com where sellers can list what they are selling (typically kids’ clothing and toys, sporting equipment, furniture, household items and accessories, books, clothing, etc.) and shoppers can map out which homes they’d like to visit.

“I love organizing this community event. It gives everyone a chance to catch up with each other after hibernating all winter,” said West. “On the day of the sale, you’ll see me driving around in my now notorious golf cart. It allows me to cover a lot of ground so I can hand out balloons to the participants and chat with everyone. The whole event takes on an almost party-like atmosphere. Both sellers and buyers alike walk away very happy!”
