Gatlinburg, TN, January 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort’s Wild Bear Falls, the largest indoor water park in the South, has launched a website, http://www.wgwildbearfalls.com. The website offers packages to the water park with accommodations at Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort and River Terrace Resort as well as single, 3 day and 5 day admission tickets. In addition to pictures detailing all the rides and attractions, the website provides information regarding accommodations available in conjunction with the park, park regulations and information regarding group bookings.
Westgate’s mountain-themed Wild Bear Falls opened in March 2007 with more than 60,000 square feet with 300,000 gallons of water flowing through the park daily. Admission is free to ages 2 and under. Single day admission is $18.95 plus tax, Three day admission is $39.95 plus tax and Five day admission is $66.95 plus tax. There are free tubes and life jackets, lockers for rent and coolers are permissible.
Wild Bear Falls Water Park features a retractable roof so guests can enjoy in year-round. Other features include a 15,000 square-foot mezzanine with a restaurant, retail shop and electronic game room, the 900-foot Cades Cove Lazy River; Clingman’s Dome, a 360-foot body slide; and Laurel Falls, a 300-foot tube slide. For families with young children, the park features Little Pigeon River, a pool and toddler play area, and Wild Bear Falls, the tree house that dumps gallons of water periodically on guests below.
