President Robert Miller and Future Electronics Support "Stretching For Health" Initiative
Employees at Future Electronics, founded by Robert Miller in 1968, participate in "Stretching for Health" initiative.
Pointe Claire, Canada, May 14, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components founded in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1968 by Robert Miller, places a strong focus on the health and well-being of the company's employees.
One example of a health-related initiative at Future Electronics' Montreal Headquarters is "Stretching for Health." This program started when the Strategic Business Development Unit team members were encouraged by a nurse in the company's on-site Medical Center to do stretching during the day in order to avoid muscle stiffness that often results from long periods of sitting.
The group decided to begin by doing stretches together every morning and every afternoon. Within just two months, team members started to notice results and felt better. They are now spreading the word and encouraging other departments to implement regular group stretching activities. The President of Future Electronics, Robert Miller, is health-conscious and encourages employees to live healthy lifestyles.
