West Hartford Health & Rehabilitation Center's Administrator, Theresa Sanderson Received the ACHCA Chair Award for 2016

West Hartford, CT, May 14, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) is proud to announce Theresa Sanderson, CNHA, FAHCA of West Hartford Health and Rehabilitation Center of West Hartford, Connecticut as one of the 2016 recipients of the ACHCA Chair’s Award. The award was presented during the awards ceremony at ACHCA’s 50th Annual Convocation and Exposition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. The Chair’s Award is given to a recipient of the Chair of the ACHCA Board of Directors choosing for special service or extraordinary involvement in a project during the Chair’s tenure.

Mrs. Sanderson was the ACHCA District 1 Director, until recently when she was installed as the new Secretary/Treasurer of the ACHCA Board of Directors. Mrs. Sanderson was instrumental in bringing about a resolution between ACHCA national and The New England Alliance. The two organizations are now aligned in mission and vision, and a healthy, rewarding relationship between the two exists. Mrs. Sanderson also spearheaded the CEO task force, working diligently to lead ACHCA to their new President & CEO, Cecilia Sepp, CAE.
