Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce Invites Active Service Personnel and Veterans to Its 38th Annual Golf Outing on Flag Day and the US Army’s Birthday
The Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce invites Active Service Personnel and Veterans from All Branches of Service to their 38th Annual Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing on Flag Day and the US Army’s 241st Birthday, June 14, 2016.
Morton Grove, IL, May 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- In honor of their service to the United States of America, and as a way of saying “thank you” to all active and veteran men and women of the armed services (and a “Happy 241st Birthday” to the US Army), the Morton Grove Chamber is providing a special package just for those who are currently in (or veterans of) the military. Invitations were sent to over a dozen area active and veteran representatives from the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard.
The Chamber is offering a full day at the Chevy Chase Country Club (1000 N Milwaukee Avenue, Wheeling, IL) with a golf, lunch and dinner at $95 per person. Those interested in just attending the dinner can do so for $30 per person. Reservations can be made by contacting the Chamber’s Golf Committee at 847-965-0330 or director@mgcci.org by June 10, 2016.
The Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce will also donate a portion of this year's raffle sales to the American Legion Post 134 for their support of various charities in appreciation to those who are serving (or have served) their country.
Mark Albers, the President of the Chamber said, “We will be honored to have those who served or are serving our country to join us at our golf outing” and went on to add, “I hope to personally welcome these men and women at our event on June 14.”
