From Meters to "Smart Data": EDP Distribuição Confirmed to Present a Case Study at Meter Asset Management

London, United Kingdom, May 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- In order to achieve the very ambitious 20-20-20 target, member states need to consolidate efforts to drive transformation of Europe’s utility networks to become ‘smarter’. Utility companies across Europe face the prospect of meeting the EU’s goal of installing smart meters for a minimum of 80% of consumers by 2020. While utility companies and their customers have already seen significant benefits from smart meters, roll out programmes need to accelerate and challenges have to be overcome.
