Agenda Released for UAV Technology Eastern Europe
SMi's UAV Technology Eastern Europe conference, taking place on 21st - 22nd September 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic, will address cutting edge insights into emerging UAV technology from those leading capability development in the region including the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia and Estonia.

The demands of the security situation in the region demonstrate the need for accurate and timely intelligence, to decisively influence commander’s decisions. As the only meeting of its kind in the region, SMi's UAV Technology Eastern Europe conference will explore the tactics and technologies for advancing capability in this important area. Drawing on the experience and ongoing work of regional military experts and those from across NATO, the forum will deliberate operational lessons learnt, from challenging environments such as counter-insurgency operations in the Middle East to ongoing security efforts across Europe. In addition to strategy for UAV use, military programme managers from procurement shall discuss the requirements and updates for key programmes
Importantly, the conference will also benefit from the guidance of technical leaders from research and industry, whose insight into the latest UAV platforms, optronics, sensors, datalinks, ground control centres, airborne weapons and mission support systems will provide greater awareness of existing and future capability.
