Retirement Plan Advisors & York College of Pennsylvania Host Retirement Planning Success Event
RPA to present at the college’s Human Resources Symposium June 8-10.
Chicago, IL, May 17, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Retirement Plan Advisors, LLC (RPA) and York College of Pennsylvania will host the annual Human Resources (HR) Symposium. The 2016 event is scheduled to take place on campus in York, PA, June 8-10, and will host attendees from various regional higher education institutions.
HR team members oftentimes act as a plan sponsor for their higher education institution’s retirement plan. On the afternoon of June 8, Kenneth Mergen, Vice President – Group Retirement Plans, will lead a presentation on “Fiduciary Responsibility.” The law defines fiduciary actions retirement plan sponsors must fulfill, including following plan documents, diversifying plan investments, and acting in the best interest of participants. Mr. Mergen and RPA offer real-world experience answering related questions for plan sponsors via 3(21) and 3(38) investment fiduciary services.
Following Mr. Mergen’s presentation, RPA will sponsor a dinner and baseball game outing at PeoplesBank Park, home of the York Revolution.
