Techmedic International B.V. Receives FDA Clearance for Its Dyna-Vision Telemonitoring System
Broek op Langedijk, Netherlands, May 20, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Techmedic International B.V., a leading developer and manufacturer of remote diagnostic monitoring solutions in the digital health market, is pleased to announce that it has received FDA clearance for its Dyna-Vision Telemonitoring System.
The wireless, patch-based ECG and vital signs monitoring system makes vital signs monitoring faster, easier and more convenient for both, patients and medical staff. It will allow for early detection of vital sign changes thereby enabling faster interventions as well as increased nursing efficiency and higher patient satisfaction.
The patch is an easy-to-use sensor worn on a patient’s upper chest. It is intended to be used on adult patients in a clinical and home environment for the continuous, non-invasive monitoring of ECG, heart rate, heart rate variability, cardiac arrhythmia, respiration rate and surface temperature.
Dyna-Vision uses an additional sensor for arterial blood oxygen saturation and also features built-in GPS position, Wi-Fi and 3G communication, which provides medical information and alerts remotely to medical staff using IOS and Android phone applications as well as nurse call systems.
Rutger Brest van Kempen, CEO of Techmedic International, stated: “This clearance represents another significant technological breakthrough for Techmedic International and further strengthens our position as an innovational leader in digital health. I am highly excited at the tremendous market potential for the easy-to-use Dyna-Vision Telemonitoring System and CasperPatch, both in the clinical and ambulatory settings worldwide. Furthermore, the cost benefits will allow vital signs monitoring to be utilized for a much broader patient population and help prevent hospital readmissions.
