Moye White Recertifies as a B Corp: Denver Law Firm Rededicates Itself to Social, Environmental Standards
Denver law firm Moye White LLP has recertified as a B Corporation. Moye White was the first Denver law firm to achieve B Corp certification in 2014. The prestigious designation is awarded to companies that use the power of business to solve social and environmental problems and meet higher standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
Now Moye White has announced that the firm has recertified as a B Corp: In order to maintain this designation a company must update its assessment every 2 years, provide additional documentation to verify its answers, and achieve at least 80 out of 200 available points. This process ensures that companies who become certified B Corporations continue to engage in a high level of impact with their stakeholders, even as the business grows or changes. The B Impact Assessment is updated every two years, so recertification also gives companies the opportunity to set improvement goals against the most-up-to-date standards, and benchmark their performance over time.
