2015 Foreman of the Year Safety Award Announced for F.E. Moran Fire Protection National
F.E. Moran Fire Protection is celebrating the 2015 Foreman of the Year for Safety. The candidate needed to adhere to weekly safety compliance documentation and reporting.
Champaign, IL, May 21, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Jeffrey Keiper, President of F.E. Moran Fire Protection National, has announced the Foreman of the Year Safety Award for 2015. After entries were counted, three finalists were chosen. The final winner was Foreman Brian Russow.
The winner was chosen after data was analyzed looking at adherence to weekly safety procedure documentation and incident and accident reporting which was recorded by the Safety Management Team. F.E. Moran Fire Protection was looking for a candidate that kept accurate record keeping of daily and weekly safety record filing and accident/incident reporting.
Russow has been a foreman with F.E. Moran Fire Protection National since December 19, 2006. He is dedicated to safety and takes on a leadership role in the field. He was an integral part of the team in the Army Readiness Center, AIL Assisted Living project, CSL Building 5, and Autumn Fields among others.
When asked about the Foreman of the Year finalists, Keiper said, “It was a hard decision. The three finalists were all outstanding. However, Mr. Russow went above and beyond to ensure that all required safety paperwork was completed on time, DTSA completed, and safety inspections were followed through. On behalf of F.E. Moran Fire Protection National, we would like to congratulate Mr. Russow on his outstanding performance and achievement.”
Keiper continued, “With the ever increasing focus on safety, and the associated risk to both the employee and the employer, adherence to safety procedures and documentation should not pass without recognition. Brian has put forth a tremendous effort to remain compliant throughout the 2015 calendar year. It is with great hope that this not only continues with Mr. Russow but filters out to all our employees.
“ARMON and F. E. Moran Fire Protection have invested a great deal of resources into reducing risks associated with general liability, workman’s compensation, and commercial auto claims. We are excited that participation to the structured safety plan has been ever increasing. Our employees recognize that we want them to return home in the same general condition they arrived. The best path to insuring that takes place is to change the safety culture that has existed in the construction industry for decades.
“Nothing would please us more than to award in kind, every member of the F.E Moran Fire Protection family at the close of the 2016 calendar year.”
