End-to-end Mobility Company brings consolidation, cost savings and better service to national military cemeteries under department of defense jurisdiction.

To help fulfill the current mandate of improved operational performance for all of the Department of Defense (DoD) national military cemeteries, DMI announced today the development of an Enterprise Interment Services System, including a mobile app to help cemetery operations teams photograph, catalog and assign GPS locations to gravesites, as well as streamline maintenance and operational processes in order to support the families of our nation’s deceased military heroes.
DMI is developing an enterprise app for internal cemetery operations, as well as a common virtual database and network environment for more than 42 military cemeteries across the United States, including Arlington National Cemetery (ANC), the Army National Military Cemeteries (ANMC) and the National Cemeteries and Memorials.
· Enterprise apps for government and federal agencies: DMI develops applications for enterprise and government agencies that are designed to integrate business processes and data models that cross system and organizational boundaries and accommodate the increasingly mobile workforce. The National Military Cemetery app will provide cemetery personnel with the ability to easily photograph markers, add GPS coordinates and other information and automatically update the centralized database, thus improving efficiency and enhancing maintenance and operations efforts.
· Improving performance: Additionally, DMI is developing a new enterprise-wide interment operations system that will result in reduced complexity and improved performance, which will aid cemetery operators, administrators and research teams in the capture, analysis and security of cemetery data and operational assets.
· Consolidation and lifecycle cost savings in a virtual server environment: DMI will provide the data integration and migration from legacy systems into a common application and VMware environment.
