Competition Gives High School Seniors Chance at a Scholarship That Could Cover Half Their Tuition

The Art Institute of California – Orange County offers several scholarships for upcoming graduates.

Santa Ana, CA, January 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Graduating high school seniors interested in design, media arts, fashion or culinary arts have until March 7, 2008 to enter The Art Institute of California – Orange County Scholarship Competition. Winners are awarded half-tuition scholarships to the program of their choice and 50 honorable mentions will receive $300 scholarships.

“The Art Institute is committed to helping students find ways to finance their education,” said Melinda Lester, Dean of Academic Affairs. “This competition is not only a chance to earn a scholarship for school but it’s a good opportunity for students to explore their area of interest.”

This year The Art Institute will distribute over $400,000 in scholarships across 14 degree programs. Each program has individual entry requirements and students must fulfill all general competition guidelines.
