The Inn at Cook Street Now Celebrating Its 30th Anniversary Experience, Stellar Hospitality Welcome Guests at This Boutique B&B Inn

Since 2013, they have been the innkeepers at The Inn at Cook Street, a historic, boutique, bed and breakfast inn located in Provincetown, Massachusetts, a diverse fishing village and America’s oldest continuous arts colony. Wooldridge and Flaherty, who both spent their family summers and formative years in Provincetown, feel strongly about creating an inviting, warm environment to welcome their guests to their inn, which they consider home. “We remember coming here as kids many summers with our families. The Inn has eight rooms, all with bathrooms and most with private entrances, and is located in the Historic Art Gallery District of Provincetown, where many famous artists have studios and galleries. Since the beginning, The Inn has welcomed many colorful personalities, including well-known writers, artists, musicians and celebrities. Among the earliest famous guests to stay at 7 Cook Street were artists Edward Hopper and Jackson Pollack, playwright Tennessee Williams, and Pulitzer Prize winning author Michael Cunningham. These famous guests stayed at the house when it was a private residence. It was then converted to an Inn. Most recently, Flaherty and Wooldridge have hosted famous folks including comedian and actress Margaret Cho and Australian jazz artist Sarah McKenzie, to name a few.
Both from big, close-knit families, Wooldridge and Flaherty enjoy having a house full of people.
