Axia Technology Partners Raises More Than $8,000 for Gleaners Food Bank
Axia Technology Partners announced today that it raised more than $8,000 for Gleaners Food Bank during its first annual “Drive to Revive” fundraising event on May 27. The money raised will provide more than 25,000 meals to those served by Gleaners.
Indianapolis, IN, June 03, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Axia Technology Partners (AxiaTP), a leading national provider of IP technology solutions based in Indianapolis, announced today that it raised more than $8,000 for Gleaners Food Bank during its first annual “Drive to Revive” fundraising event on May 27. The money raised will provide more than 25,000 meals to those served by Gleaners.
More than 300 people attended the event, which took place in a transformed Gleaners warehouse, decorated to match the evening’s chic theme. Attendees enjoyed food, drinks and a variety of silent auction items for bid.
Party goers were also given the chance to meet and take photos with Verizon IndyCar Series driver Carlos Muñoz, who finished second in the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500. Muñoz’s Andretti Autosport teammate, rookie Alexander Rossi, finished first. AxiaTP is an Andretti Autosport sponsor.
This was the first year for “Drive to Revive,” and AxiaTP Co-Founder Josh Ross plans to build on the event’s initial success.
“With all of the enthusiasm for the 100th Running of the Indy 500, we thought it would be an ideal opportunity to harness that excitement into support for a tremendous cause,” said Ross. “Gleaners has such an important mission, and AxiaTP is proud to support it.
