Nashid Ali is a world-renowned artist from Richmond, Virginia. He's written for the Richmond Times-Dispatch and appeared on NBC's Today Show to discuss his work. He's a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and he has published several books ranging from fiction to poetry to nonfiction. June Bethune is his first novel.
