Mr. America® 2016 All American Sports Festival™ Announces 5K Competitive Race
Competition open to male and female competitors of all ages.
Annapolis, MD, June 08, 2016 --(PR.com)-- A 5K Competitive Race will be one of the featured events at the Mr. America® 2016 All American Sports Festival™, scheduled for July 2, 2016 at Six Flags America, outside of Washington, D.C., The run will start at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 2 at Parking Lot #4 inside of Six Flags America, with registration/check-in beginning at 5:30 a.m. Entrance fee is $30 per runner and the event is limited to the first 1,500 registrants. A portion of the proceeds of the event will benefit the Kentland 33 Volunteer Firehouse in Maryland. The 5K Competitive Race is open to male and female competitors of all ages. All participants will receive an event t-shirt and a pass for a free week at one of 10 Washington, D.C. area Gold’s Gyms.* Medals will be awarded to the overall male and overall female finishers and the top three competitors in the following age categories: 12 & Under 13-19 years; 20-29 years; 30-39 years; 40-49 years; 50-59 years; 60+.
The racecourse will start at Parking Lot #4 and weave its way around and under Six Flags America’s world-famous coasters and other attractions. The event will conclude with post-race refreshments, entertainment and the awards ceremony.
The 5K Competitive Race is a featured event of the Mr. America 2016 All American Sports Festival which aims to celebrate the American health, wellness and fitness culture through competitions and activities that promote health and well-being.

This expanded venue opens up opportunities for individuals of all ages and skill levels to compete in the best of American Fitness.
