Virtual Technologies Group Acquires JCI Group

Maumee, OH, June 09, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Virtual Technologies Group (VTG) is excited to announce that it has acquired Jacobson Computers Inc., doing business as JCI Group, in an asset purchase transaction. The two entities are eager to join forces and expand their service offerings & areas of expertise to all of the greater Northwest Ohio / Southern Michigan region. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1980, JCI Group was led by CEO Gary Jacobson providing an entire line of IT services for every size business. They've served the Northwest Ohio and Southern Michigan region with services such as Disaster Recovery, VoIP telephony, Managed Services and more.

Prior to the acquisition, JCI Group’s ownership searched to find an agency with like-minded owners who cared about continuing to provide the best IT solutions while still providing top-class service to clients. Jacobson said, “Virtual Technologies Group and JCI Group were perfectly suited for one another. Each company’s mission focuses on high quality work that, at its core, revolves around a close partnership with the client.”
