Maura A. Mckenna Joins Private Bank of Buckhead Team
Based in Buckhead, the veteran banker serves clients across the metro area.
Atlanta, GA, June 08, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Private Bank of Buckhead, which includes Private Bank of Decatur and PrivatePlus Mortgage, has added Maura A. McKenna as a Senior Vice President & Relationship Manager. She is based out of Buckhead, and will serve clients across the metro Atlanta area.

A native of Washington, DC, McKenna graduated from Georgetown Law School with a concentration in taxation, finance, real estate and lender liability. She is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, and she gained extensive experience working in various aspects of commercial and residential lending, as well as managing federal regulation compliance for DC, Maryland and Virginia area banks.
McKenna relocated to Atlanta in 1995 and worked with several large Georgia financial institutions before joining Private Bank of Buckhead. “There is great diversity in banking, and I enjoy having the opportunity to work with different people and businesses every day,” she says.
Outside of work, she is an active Board Member and volunteer with several organizations including Catholic Charities Atlanta, Beacon of Hope Women’s Center, the United Way, Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV-Atlanta) and the Marist School. She and her family are members of St. Brigid Church in Johns Creek and she serves the community through its various ministries. McKenna also was an elected member of the Johns Creek Community Association and instrumental in the formation of the City of Johns Creek.
She and her husband Frank are empty nesters with three grown daughters (law school grad Emily, Ph.D. student Claire, and Becky, a recent college graduate). They currently reside in Alpharetta with their Golden Retriever, Nala, and enjoy hiking, skiing, traveling and rooting for the Atlanta Braves and the Boston Red Sox.
