Locanto Now in Bahasa Indonesia
Locanto Classifieds, a major player in the global classifieds market, recently released a Bahasa Indonesia version of its Indonesian website.
Jakarta, Indonesia, June 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Locanto Classifieds, a major player in the global classifieds market, recently released a Bahasa Indonesia version of its Indonesian website. The new website complements the existing English edition of Locanto Indonesia, which first launched two years ago.
Alfred van de Pol, COO of Locanto, said the company's move to offer Locanto in Bahasa Indonesia, “makes sense, as we are strong in other Asian markets such as India, Singapore and Malaysia.”
He highlighted the fact that only a small percentage of Indonesia's citizens speak English fluently, saying “if we are serious about winning the Indonesian market we need a website the majority of Indonesians can understand and use.” Despite low internet penetration, Indonesia is one of the world's largest online markets, owing to its sizable population, he said.
Indonesia currently ranks eighth in the world in terms of internet users, according to Statista.
Locanto Indonesia Country Manager Dede Rudiyana said, “Indonesians are used to vibrant marketplaces, and Locanto in Bahasa is the best digital alternative to the local marketplace,” adding, “our marketplace never sleeps.”
Browsing and posting ads in Bahasa Indonesia (www.locanto.id) is free.
