NSC Public Service Students in Gruelling Snowdonia Assessment

Oswestry, United Kingdom, June 11, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Level 3 Uniformed Public Services students at North Shropshire College (NSC) have recently been on a two day trip to Snowdonia National Park, the trip formed part of their assessment as they had to plan and execute each part. The students stayed on Tryfan, one of the most rugged and spectacular mountains in Snowdonia and popular for its rugged climbs and ridges. The students walked and scrambled up the south face of Tryfan and camped overnight, they all made it to the famous Adam and Eve Rocks at the top.

Paul Clark, Uniformed Public Services and Sport Lecturer, commented, "The students planned this trip impeccably, they made their own camp and cooked their own food, they even coped well when the weather turned from a beautiful May evening into one of the worst storms. The wind was 50 mph and the rain was torrential, the trip was a great success and the students were a credit to themselves and the College. We look forward to another, albeit, dryer trip next year."
