Saint Louis University Implements Unimarket as Comprehensive eProcurement Solution
Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit university, and Unimarket, an innovator in e-procurement and spend management solutions for higher education, have commenced rolling out Unimarket's full suite of solutions, with integration to St. Louis’s Banner® by Ellucian finance system.
Saint Louis, MO, June 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Saint Louis University (SLU) selected Unimarket to provide their full suite of solutions, including Marketplace, eProcurement, eInvoicing, Supplier Registration, Sourcing and Contract Management, and officially launched the system in May.
"Saint Louis University has had eProcurement as a strategic objective for some time," said David Heimburger, Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Saint Louis University. "We performed due diligence in reviewing the solutions and providers available in the market, ultimately selecting Unimarket for an all-in-one solution of eProcurement, contract management and electronic sourcing. Since we began implementing the system in the fall of 2015, we have been pleased with the capabilities of Unimarket's technology, flexibility of the integration with Banner Finance, and excellent customer service. We look forward to realizing the full benefits of the Unimarket procure-to-pay eProcurement solution."
Peter Kane, Chief Executive Officer of Unimarket, commented, "We are delighted to add Saint Louis University to our growing customer base, joining Creighton University as another AJCU (Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities) institution recognizing the benefits of Unimarket’s all-in-one solution for spend management. Our simple and easy-to-use software has been well received by our existing customers and is expected to be an important factor for driving adoption and benefits realization at SLU. As the oldest university west of the Mississippi river, SLU is an historic addition to Unimarket's customer base, and we are pleased to add this notable institution as our first Missouri customer."
The Unimarket eProcurement solution implementation leverages Unimarket’s unique community source Banner integration, a key benefit identified by SLU. After a brief pilot period, the solution went live in February 2016 and is currently being rolled out across campus.
