Mr. Islam’s practice involves the representation of business entities of various sizes. Advising clients on proper entity selection, solicitation and raising of capital, and employment agreements are key aspects of Mr. Islam’s corporate practice.
Mr. Islam’s corporate practice also involves extensive representation of non-profit entities. Specifically, he represents more than 10 charter schools in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, two of Philadelphia’s largest community development corporations, and several religious institutions. His representation of these non-profit entities includes corporate governance and board compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and creation/formation.
Mu’min is an adjunct professor at Temple University’s Fox School of Business and can be heard on 900 AM WURD, one Saturday a month answering legal questions.
