Record Number of Students to Walk in San Diego Virtual School Graduation Ceremony
Online high school holding commencement ceremony at San Diego State University for the first time.
San Diego, CA, June 14, 2016 --(PR.com)-- San Diego Virtual School (SDVS) is celebrating its largest commencement ceremony with a record of more than 90 students on Monday, June 20, at 5 p.m., at Montezuma Hall in San Diego State University (SDSU).
“This is a momentous occasion for everyone involved,” said Executive Director Brennan McLaughlin. “To see an increasing number of students graduate from SDVS is a testament to their hard work, and also to the success of our credentialed staff and the high-quality online education we have to offer. Graduating high school students will celebrate their milestone at SDSU, making it the first time SDVS holds a commencement ceremony at the university.
“We are excited to hold our commencement ceremony at SDSU,” said McLaughlin. “Montezuma Hall is a state-of-the-art venue, and our attending graduates will get a glimpse into the great opportunities and facilities that could potentially await them by pursuing higher education.”
SDVS is an accredited, online public charter school serving San Diego and adjoining counties. It provides students with live, credentialed teachers in all subject areas, including Language Arts, Mathematics, Sciences, and more.
