International Technology Mounting Solutions Provider SpacePole, Inc. Opens US Distribution Center in Metro Atlanta: Grand Opening Scheduled for June 20
SpacePole, Inc., a global supplier of innovative and ergonomically designed technology mounting and mobility solutions, launches its US product distribution and support services with the opening of a new 10,000 square-foot facility in Gwinnett County. Expansion plans call for adding local manufacturing and assembly facilities, as well.
Atlanta, GA, June 16, 2016 --(PR.com)-- An Ergonomic Solutions group company, SpacePole, Inc. develops its products in partnership with global retailers and technology suppliers and is the market leader with more than 5 million unique installations worldwide. SpacePole’s technology mounting solutions are the global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of the most ergonomically advanced mounting and security solutions for a wide range of static and mobile technology. Our application areas extend across retail, POS (point-of-sale), payment, digital signage, self-service, mobility, warehousing, distribution and logistics industries.
Located at 5755 Goshen Springs Road in Norcross, the new facility will receive products and components shipped from Europe and Asia for distribution throughout the US and Canada. The company also plans to expand its channel partner program, , which is well established and highly successful in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Asia) marketplace, to include North American resellers and distributors.
SpacePole, Inc. President Ian Dewar calls Atlanta the ideal entry point for the company’s US operations. “SpacePole is constantly seeking new product innovations,” he says, “and Atlanta is widely recognized as a vital retail, financial, technical and payments processing center. As the US retail sector implements EMV-enabled credit and debit cards for Chip & PIN payments processing, SpacePole is positioned – not only technologically but also, now, geographically – to provide secure solutions to this specialized market.”
As an example, he cites SpacePole’s unique payments history: “When EMV was launched in Europe in 2004, SpacePole payments products were chosen for the initial trials. Since then, we have provided more than 2 million payment mounting solutions globally, and currently we supply over 60% of the world top 50 retailers.”
Tapping the exceptional market opportunities in the US is a key element of the company’s growth strategy, and the Norcross location’s proximity to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, port facilities in Savannah, and the I-75/85 corridor, as well as to in-state thin metal manufacturers and raw material suppliers in Louisiana, was among the determining factors in the site’s selection.
A Grand Opening and ribbon-cutting event will be held on Monday, June 20 at 12 noon with company officials and guest dignitaries in attendance and facility tours offered throughout the day. A Grand Opening celebration for customers and suppliers is planned later this summer.
