You-Con, the Midwest's First Youtuber Convention

Ben Greene announced his new crowd funding campaign for You-Con, a convention which aims to bring popular Youtubers to St. Charles, IL in 2017. You-Con is going to be the first ever Youtuber based convention in the Midwest Area, the guest list will include popular Youtubers such as, JoeyBlondewolf, Random Gibberish, and Michael Buckley of What the Buck Show.
The convention will target men and women between the ages of 18 and 35 in an effort to provide a means for fans to meet with their favorite Youtubers, without having to travel to the other conventions in New York or California. At You-Con attendees won't have to wait in line for over two hours just to get an autograph or take a picture with a guest. Even at this early stage, more than 1000 individuals within the Chicago and surrounding areas have shown their interest in attending You-Con.
"So I fell in love with YouTube 10 years ago with AMVs and vloggers. I was always so envious of people who could share their ideas with the world! I'd comment on videos, but the comments would get lost in the mountainous responses. The Coasts are also too far for me to travel without costing an arm and a leg. Then I heard about You-con and I got so excited! Finally a chance to meet face to face with some of my favorite vloggers and ask them for advice. Maybe even get the courage to start my own channel someday!" Jessica Smith
