Free Wheelchair Mission Announces New Regional Advisory Council Chairman
Houston, TX, June 14, 2016 --(PR.com)-- J. Downey Bridgwater, President of Comerica Bank’s Houston market, will chair Free Wheelchair Mission’s new Regional Advisory Council overseeing the states of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas.
Mr. Bridgwater brings nearly 40 years of banking experience as well as tremendous community involvement. He has served on boards for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, the Greater Houston Partnership, Texas Medical Center, University of Houston Board of Visitors, the Bauer College of Business Dean’s Executive Board at the University of Houston and the Harris County Housing Finance Corporation.
The council will facilitate regional expansion for Free Wheelchair Mission (FWM) in the southwest as well as provide strategic insight to the FWM Board of Directors.
FWM continues to grow its impact around the world with fiscal transparency and efficiency. Intelligent Philanthropy once again recognized FWM for its commitment to transparency, and Charity Navigator awarded FWM its third consecutive 4-star rating for adhering to sector best practices while maintaining financial efficiency.
