Advanced Patient Advocacy Leader Appointed to Florida HFMA Board Position

Richmond, VA, June 16, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Advanced Patient Advocacy, LLC (APA) announced today that Abby Birch, Vice President of Client Development, has been installed as the Director of Innovation for the Florida Healthcare Financial Management (HFMA) Board.

Ms. Birch was installed on May 16th, 2016. Florida HFMA is focusing on four areas: Payers, Physicians, Early Careerists, and Women in Healthcare Leadership. Abby will be working with various HFMA committees to create education and networking opportunities in these areas, to grow membership and to broaden HFMA’s reach. In May 2014, Abby received the Florence Henry Award for demonstrating innovation and leadership within the Florida Chapter of HFMA. She is also a founding member of Women in Healthcare Leadership, which is now part of the HFMA HERe initiative.
