Clovis, NM, June 23, 2016 --(PR.com)-- A. Lucille Bradburn of Clovis, New Mexico has been recognized as a Lifetime Featured Member by Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide Edition for her outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of art.
About A. Lucille Bradburn
Ms. Bradburn has over 50 years experience in the art field. She is the Owner and Artist of Watercolors by L. Bradburn. She paints portraits of people and animals, buildings, vehicles and landscapes in watercolors and some acrylics. Her paintings have been exhibited in Dallas, Texas, New York City, Taos, Santa Fe, Portales and Clovis, New Mexico. Ms. Bradburn has a permanent painting hanging in the New Mexico Museum of Fine Arts. She was honored as “Artist of the Month” by the Clovis Carver Library. Her Blue Ribbon watercolor painting, “Indian Potter,” was published in the Curry County Heritage Bicentennial Book in 1975. Ms. Bradburn has been a speaker at New Mexico State University. She is a member of the Pintores Art League and previously served as their President. She was affiliated with the Clovis Portales Arts Council “EMNU” International Art Shows. Her watercolor book “Shadows of New Mexico” was published in 2010.
Born on January 27, 1929 in Grand Junction, Colorado, Ms. Bradburn obtained an A.S. in Pre-Med from Mesa State University in Colorado and an A.A. in Art from Eastern New Mexico University. She has studied under numerous celebrated artists. Ms. Bradburn is retired from the U.S. Census Bureau. She was married to her late husband, George, for almost 60 years and raised four children and has six grandchildren. She has enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. and internationally. In her spare time Ms. Bradburn enjoys water aerobics and collecting Indian artifacts.
