Philip Haney revealed in an interview with REGATED.com that he believed the Head of the Department of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson, should be changed.
Phoenix, AZ, June 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- In an exclusive interview conducted with REGATED.com's Mark Hammond last night, DHS whistleblower Philip Haney proclaimed that "We absolutely need to change the head of DHS." [at 1 hour, 1 minute into the interview.] The interview is located at the following URL: http://regated.com/2016/06/magapod-episode-5-guest-philip-haney. Included in the following are relevant excerpts from the interview:
REGATED's Mark Hammond: "Let me ask you a point blank question. Are there appointed people that need to be replaced if Trump gets the presidency?"
Philip Haney: "Well, they are at the very least enablers. Why aren't there more people like me?"
Mark Hammond: "Do you think that with a Trump presidency there would be an err of change and we could get back to business, or do you think it would take something like changing the head of DHS to change something?"
Philip Haney: "Oh, we absolutely need to change the head of DHS. Jeh Johnson was a lawyer for the DoD before, and he was one of the primary drivers behind the 'Don't ask, Don't Tell' overturning of... He had virtually no law enforcement experience whatsoever."
Philip Haney made national news this week by becoming the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) "whistleblower." Philip Haney served for nearly a decade at a Department of Homeland Security office after its creation in 2003. He was responsible for investigations pertaining to Customs and Border Patrol through its National Targeting Center. While there, he was pertinent to targeting people connected to Tablighi Jamaat, an Islamic group with some 70 million members.
Jeh Johnson was appointed by Barack Obama at the end of 2013 to be the Homeland Security Chief.
