Allegany Insurance Group Announces Management Changes

Cuba, NY, June 19, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The following changes have taken place within the company:

Byron K. Long, formerly Executive Vice-President, was named President & CEO. Byron previously was Regional Manager for MMG Insurance Company in Allentown, PA; prior to that position he served as President/CEO of Mutual Inspection Bureau, Inc. in Harrisburg, PA.

Holly A. Thropp, formerly Treasurer, was named CFO & Treasurer.

David A. Nagle, formerly Marketing Manager, was named Vice-President of Marketing.

Andrea M. Catone, formerly Office Manager of the Rochester Office, retained that title and was named Assistant Treasurer.

James R. Sherrard, formerly Administrative Executive Assistant, was named Executive Assistant & HR Coordinator.

The Board of Directors believes that these changes will allow the company to expand and strengthen its position as a growing regional company, well-suited to address continuing changes in the New York and Pennsylvania insurance markets.
