iPatientCare celebrated its achievements of being honored by IHE and HIMSS as one of the Health IT Industry Leader, being named as a Qualified PQRS Registry for Year 2016 by CMS, and earning a White Coat of Quality Award by Surescripts.
Woodbridge, NJ, June 22, 2016 --(PR.com)-- iPatientCare, a pioneer in cloud-based ambulatory EHR and Revenue Cycle Management services, held its biannual meeting “iPatientCare Half-yearly Engagements, Achievements, and Roadmap” (iHEAR), which was attended by its Directors, Investors, Value Added Resellers and other key stakeholders. A series of iHEAR meetings have been scheduled twice a year, where iPatientCare’s key members and partners meet to discuss about their present engagements and achievements during the last six months and prepare the roadmap for the upcoming six months and beyond.
The key achievements during the first half of 2016 included iPatientCare being honored by IHE and HIMSS as one of the Health IT Industry Leader at IHE NA Connectathon Leadership Conference on January 27, 2016 at Cleveland, Ohio. HIMSS and IHE understands the challenges faced by the health care providers in connectivity among disparate EHR Systems and Health Information exchanges (HIEs) and hence decides the interoperability thresholds that are higher than those defined by Meaningful certification. iPatientCare, after its rigorous testing to technical specifications, was named with such an award.
Another big and important achievement was iPatientCare again Named as a Qualified PQRS Registry for Year 2016 by CMS for the third time in a row. Hence all Nationwide practices will be able to avail the iPatientCare PQRS Reporting services to Report the Healthcare Quality Measures for the year 2016 to the CMS. Also, iPatientCare announced its significant achievement of helping numerous physicians’ offices and eligible providers in reporting 2015 quality data through its qualified PQRS Registry.
Additionally, in April 2016, Surescripts awarded iPatientCare EHR with the prestigious 2015 White Coat of Quality Award. iPatientCare e-prescribing system is carefully designed to provide greatest care quality and patient safety at the best possible quality standards.
Moreover, iPatientCare released the “new” Patient Portal as part of its comprehensive Patient Engagement Suite which got tremendous reception and recognition at the recent HIMSS16 at Vegas. The new release of Patient Portal has been designed to focus on new generation of consumers who need to be actively engaged in their health and care and ensure Meaningful Use compliance of iPatientCare EHR users.
Kedar Mehta, Chief Technology Officer of iPatientCare, strongly said, “iPatientCare team is flying up with the perfection and the quality at such a pace which not only justifies the needs of iPatientCare users but also exceeds their expectations! We feel that our software development team is a true asset for the iPatientCare organization.
