Bill Morrison, Comic Book Creator & Artist Partners with Nogginwear
Bill Morrison, President of the National Cartoonists Society and comic book creator & artist partners with Nogginwear to add his character, Roswell, to the Limited Edition Artist Hat Series.
Boston, MA, June 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Nogginwear, the First & Only Premium Hat Subscription is pleased to announce the latest multiple award winning comic book creator, writer and artist, Bill Morrison, as the next participant in the Limited Edition Artist Hat Series. As with the Stan Sakai hat, Nogginwear will be making a limited quantity of Bill’s hat and when they are gone they will not be reproduced- a true collector’s hat. Nogginwear and Bill will design this hat and showcase embroidery of Bill’s character, Roswell: Little Green Man. The hat will feature exciting features and design elements that will set it apart from anything you’ve ever seen before.
Bill Morrison started his career as an illustrator. Mr. Morrison worked in the advertising of motion pictures. During that time in his career, Mr. Morrison painted many classic movie posters, including several Disney animated films, including Bambi, Cinderella, Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid and many more. Later, Matt Groening brought Bill into the world of the Simpsons as the art director for Bongo Comics. Bill drew the very first Simpsons comic story and he has been involved with nearly every Bongo Comic book ever since as writer, penciler, inker or supervisor. Groening also had Bill art direct and develop characters for the Futurama show.
Bill has written and drawn his own comic book series, the four-time Eisner Award™-nominated Roswell: Little Green Man, and co-created two comic book series; Heroes Anonymous, and Lady Robotika, the latter with Jane Wiedlin of the legendary all-female rock band, The Go-Go’s.
Bill is also the current president of the National Cartoonists Society.
The Nogginwear business model is also about giving back through established partnerships with non-profit organizations like the National Cartoonists Society Foundation, which sponsors events like Cartooning for Kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
